Protective goods : Safety comes first
Safety is paramount in archery. Our extensive selection of protective equipment includes shooting gloves, tabs, and arm guards.

Protective goods from Bearpaw Products
Our products are manufactured in Pakistan (Karachi). Our partner in Karachi places great emphasis on consistent quality and good working conditions for their employees. Production employees work eight hours a day and are given ample opportunity to take breaks. Furthermore, our partner provides insurance for the employees and their families, and everyone receives a secure income through employment. The salary of local employees is three times the average for this region. Many of us may take all of these aspects for granted. However, this is an absolute rarity: In Pakistan, working conditions are characterized by poor job security, low wages, and a lack of co-determination rights within companies. Each employee has been carefully selected – they are true experts in their field. This is clearly evident in the high-quality workmanship, consistent quality, and elegant appearance of the products.

Our partner is also B Corp and BSCI certified! "B Corp" is an international certification awarded by the non-profit organization "B Lab" to companies for their social and environmental impact. The goal of BSCI is to improve working conditions worldwide. A specific code of conduct must be adhered to within the supply chain.

Each of our products is handcrafted. Whether it's a shooting glove, arm guard, or quiver, behind every product is a person who carries out their work with love and passion. Our partner employed a team of between 30 and 40 employees to create our products. Each individual is trained in the processes and products. From the sample maker to the final product, the entire team puts their heart and soul into their work. Some employees have been working in their craft for up to 35 years.

Materials for our protective products
For our leather and textile products, we place particular emphasis on the selection and sourcing of materials. The correct use of materials should be sustainable on the one hand, while also ensuring top quality. To bring sustainable, high-quality, and well-designed products to market, we only use REACH-compliant materials. Products and manufactures that meet all the requirements of the EU Chemicals Regulation are considered REACH-compliant. We strive to use as many natural materials as possible. For example, most of our quivers are lined with leather rather than synthetic materials. We strive to source all materials locally and consider short transport routes. The seams on our products are sewn with German Gütermann thread. This is no coincidence, as this thread is particularly tear-resistant.

arm guards
Arm guards are very important for protecting your forearm from contact with the tendon and preventing injury. With a variety of designs ranging from modern and functional to traditional and aesthetic, as well as various closure options, we offer the right option for every taste and age.

Types of arm guards
Short arm guards that cover the forearm are suitable for experienced archers. Longer arm guards are ideal for beginners or children, as they protect the forearm and upper arm. Cords with metal eyelets are popular for fastening, as they have a traditional look and are perfectly adjustable. Alternatively, elastic bands with buckles can be adjusted quickly and flexibly. Velcro fasteners also offer easy adjustment. The Dynamic arm guard is particularly practical, with its flexible fabric that can be effortlessly put on and taken off. Fastening, design, and color selection are a matter of individual taste. You should consider whether a long arm guard like the Easy Long arm guard is suitable or whether a classic forearm arm guard is sufficient, depending on your own experience in archery.

Shooting gloves
A shooting glove is essential in archery for drawing the bowstring safely and comfortably. It is worn on the drawing hand and protects the three middle fingers: index, middle, and ring.

Shooting gloves for beginners
Beginners should choose soft leather or textile. This soft material allows them to develop a good feel for the bowstring right from the start and to continuously improve (e.g., Dynamic or Easy ).

Shooting gloves for archers
Experienced archers have a choice. It's important that the glove fits well and offers reliable protection. For higher draw weights, we recommend thicker and more robust leather to ensure optimal protection (e.g., the Dark or DOA shooting gloves).

Shooting gloves for children and teenagers
Generally, children and young people should start with a soft and supple leather or textile glove (e.g., the Easy Shooting Gloves). However, we recommend that children also try shooting without gloves with light draw weights. This allows them to develop a better feel for the string and shooting.

Finger tabs
A finger tab offers an alternative to traditional shooting gloves. Ultimately, the choice depends on what suits you best. However, for beginners, we recommend starting with a shooting glove. If you'd like to learn more about this, you can find a little help in our blog post .

How does a finger tab work?
The finger tab is typically made of leather and has a special texture: It provides a surface for the three fingers (ring, middle, and index) that draw the bowstrings. A separate area and a plastic divider between the middle and index fingers support precise nocking and drawing of the arrow. Available in various sizes, designs (right- or left-handed), and materials, you can choose the finger tab that best suits your preferences.

Quiver : Safe and handy for your arrows
A quiver is essential for safely and conveniently storing all your arrows. At Bearpaw Products, you'll find a wide selection of different quivers.

Back quiver
The back quiver is arguably the most classic version in archery. It is usually made of leather or textile in simple or traditional designs. The back quiver is equipped with adjustable shoulder straps or three-point belts to prevent slipping on the back.

Side quiver
The side quiver is worn on the hip via clips or belt loops and can be attached left- or right-handed, depending on your needs. Holster and pocket quivers are also available. Holster quivers have belt loops and carry the arrows backward at hip height. Pocket quivers are small and minimalist. They can be worn on the belt or in a trouser pocket.

Bow quiver
For traditional archers, bow quivers are also available, which attach directly to the bow and can increase the weight of the bow. These allow you to keep all your arrows close at hand, eliminating the need for additional storage.

Bags & Cases: Safe transport and storage
Whether for recurve, long, custom or takedown bows – with us you will find the right cover or bag for your bow.

A bow case or bag is essential for the safe transport and storage of your bow. It reliably protects against scratches and the damaging effects of moisture and direct sunlight. This is especially important, as weather conditions can significantly shorten the lifespan of your bow. In addition to protecting your bow, your bow bag also provides a neat place for accessories such as your shooting gloves or keys.

At Bearpaw Products, you'll find bow cases and bags in a variety of styles and designs to suit different needs and preferences. Whether you own a traditional longbow, a modern recurve bow, or a custom-made bow, there's a bag to safely store both your bow and accessories. Our photos show you what can be stored in a bag next to your bow.

To keep your bow in good shape, we also recommend our Bow Care Kit . This kit contains all the necessary tools for regular bow care and extending its lifespan. You can also read more about proper bow care in our blog . There, you'll find valuable tips and instructions on how to properly clean, wax, and store your bow to maintain its optimal performance. In our blog post with Lisa , you'll get a detailed look at what fits in the Take Down Deluxe bow bag.

Other accessories: Necessary and practical helpers for archery
In addition to basic protective gear and bags, we offer a variety of accessories to enhance and facilitate your archery experience:

  • Bowstring: A useful tool to simplify stringing and unstrung your bow and protect your string. Bowstrings are also recommended because they support proper technique and help prevent injuries.
  • End protectors: Protect the delicate ends (called "tips") of your bow from wear and damage. End protectors are a small but important investment to extend the lifespan of your bow.
  • String holder: Helps you quickly and reliably secure the string after stringing, thus extending the lifespan of your bowstring. A string holder ensures that your string always stays in place and doesn't get lost.
  • Leather and felt shim: A leather and felt shim is a small piece of leather or felt applied to the bow's saddle (also called a shelf) to improve arrow tracking and protect the arrow during release. These shims act as cushioning, reduce wear on the bow and arrow, and ensure a smooth, smooth release.
  • Arrow rest: An arrow rest is a small accessory that attaches to the side of the bow. It provides a stable and consistent support surface for the arrow during stringing and release. Arrow rests improve accuracy and consistency by preventing the arrow from resting directly on the bow saddle. It is suitable exclusively for arrows with plastic feathers.
  • Spare parts: Find suitable small parts and spare parts to maintain your equipment and perfectly round off your archery experience.

In our Owner's Manual, we show you in detail how to string your bow, what care it requires, and everything you need to know to continuously improve your archery skills.
